**NEW** Future Novartis Plant Announcement

Holly Springs, once a small one-stoplight town of 4,000 has certainly grown over the last 10 years! More noted now for being a bustling community of families, this town as retained its “small town feel” while growing to accommodate its newest residents. From busy soccer fields to new recreation facilities and a brand new branch of the Wake County Library System, this town is providing an abundance for its residents to enjoy.  Only a short drive from the state capitol of Raleigh, this community is nestled just south of the Cary/Apex area and north of Fuquay-Varina. It still maintains a rural atmosphere, with wide open rolling hills and lush, undeveloped areas. It´s truly a special place to call home.

Holly Springs has been informally called a “young Cary” (reminiscent of Cary in the early 1990’s) but the small town definitely has a different approach when it comes to projected future growth. With an eye for a more controlled plan to balance the inevitable growth, Holly Springs offers a charming living environment that’s certainly coming into its own.  Highway improvements, such as the new 55 bypass, are making the area more accessible to daily commuters, and the widening of US1 has opened up the corridor between Holly Springs and Cary quite nicely. With the future path of I-540 running near its northern edge, Holly Springs is poised to become as convenient a commute to Research Triangle Park as most of Cary.

Holly
Springs is attractive for many reasons, one of which is getting a similar quality of life and more house for less money just a few minutes down the road from Cary.

Part of ensuring a successful downtown was the building of a new Town Hall in the heart of Holly Springs in 2003. The 35,000 square-foot brick building was designed in an architectural style reminiscent of the 19th century, with a cupola and large clock that faces Main Street and an outdoor plaza with a fountain behind the building, giving the new building an olde-style charm.

Holly Springs is popular not only for its location and quality of life, but for all the offerings for its families. Hardly a weekend passes without a Town-sponsored family activity in a local park or downtown, whether it's a free movie or concert during the warmer months or a seasonal event such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt or the Happy Holly Days Parade.

One of the most popular communities in Holly Springs is Sunset Ridge. Sunset Ridge is home of the Devils Ridge Golf Course & Country Club. The area also provides an outstanding pool facility with water slide and water park to enjoy.  A mix of scenic beauty, charming home styles and great amentias make Sunset Ridge one of the most sought after places to live in the Triangle!

Holly Springs currently has two elementary schools and one middle school and the new Holly Springs High School.  With the opening of the new Library & Cultural Arts Center just behind the Town Hall, there are new opportunities for fun for both youth and adults alike.
